A Mother & her Son

- As I watched my oldest son when he was just 5 years old, I knew it was not typical for a child his age to be able to sit and draw for hours. Like many parents, I sought out ways for him to explore many activities but art seemed to hold his attention and provide him with a level of confidence like nothing else. When I asked him to paint something for his little sister's birthday party, he replied with "Mom, how about I just teach you?" After 7 years of attending the art camp at LSU Shreveport, art classes in 8th and 9th grade, and the talented art program - Jacob has become his mother's teacher. I am now blessed to say, my son has lead me to discover a gift that I now know can only come from our Creator in Heaven.

Glorious Season...
Mardi Gras 2011 is in full speed ahead and will be a thing of the past before we know it. But that means Easter is right around the corner. I have created these door decorative hangers to celebrate all of the things that make this season so wonderful. Glorious season to give thanks for all things new including our risen Savior!
